A 30 Year Journey of Awakening
That is three decades of soul excavating, shadow investigating, word exploration to help me figure out what the fuck was/is going on for me in my life. I am a poet because exploring with words helps me figure out what and how and why I am feeling what I am feeling.
I have been writing poetry since my
early 20's.
My poetry reflects a long and arduous journey out of a deeply wounded place, into a thriving and healing space in my heart and in the world.

Collecting poems written from my early twenties into my fifties, Rise Queen Rise maps a voyage through the depths of shadows and pain towards light, empowerment, and the realization of self-worth.
Through rhythmic, engaging writing, I offer an honest, creative, vulnerable look at healing from personal trauma and the intergenerational pain held over the history of female oppression.
This collection details the fearless self-exploration that allowed me to rise to the queen I was always meant to be.

ABOUT JENNIFER EVE
Jennifer Eve lives a very full life—she has been an exotic dancer, a Waldorf School teacher, and a women's empowerment facilitator. She continues to expand and explore new frontiers of artistic expression through spoken word, DJing, and leading transformational workshops and events.
Though poetry has long been a way for her to connect with her soul's growth, with Rise Queen Rise, her first book, Jennifer officially adds "author" to her multifaceted career.
Jennifer lives on Vancouver Island with her two teenaged children, sharing free time with her beloved, building their dreams.
